On this Veterans Day, we would like to salute all our veterans for their part in the preservation of freedom and honor them for their courage and devotion to our country. Thank you for your service!
Due to the large Veterans of the Glen function this evening in the Ballroom, the Restaurant & Lounge will be closed for dinner tonight. Lunch will be available from 11:30am-4pm.

I would like to reiterate what was sent out several weeks ago regarding the golf course renovation. Tim and the entire golf course maintenance staff are working diligently to prepare the golf course for next month’s reopening. (An official opening date has not been announced yet.) As you know, we are not finished with the renovation. Along with laying additional sod throughout the golf course, we’ve scheduled the installation of annual flowers, course landscaping, and pine straw during the next several weeks.

There are hundreds of houses abutting the golf course and many of you are concerned about the appearance of the golf course from your backyard. We ask that you please be patient as we finish the renovation. Golf courses are always a “work in progress” and we asked Chris Clarke of Clarke Construction to explain some of the expectations and misconceptions of opening a new golf course.
