Herons Glen has both a Recreation District and a Homeowners Association. This means that, as a resident, you’ll be part of a vibrant neighborhood with the added benefits of shared amenities and well-managed community services.

Recreation District (HGRD) – The HGRD oversees our amenities and common areas. This includes our golf course, clubhouse, pools, tennis and sports courts, fitness center, restaurant & lounge, ballroom, social spaces and the Common Lot Irrigation System (CLIS). The HGRD ensures these facilities are maintained to a high standard for all residents to enjoy.

Homeowners Association (HOA) – The HOA manages residential standards, architectural guidelines, and neighborhood upkeep. The HOA handles things that are related directly to your home such as: Cable & Internet, Gatehouse & Security, and the roads within the community.

The HGRD and HOA strive to provide residents with both resort-style amenities and a well-governed neighborhood. Please note that the Homeowners Association (HOA) Office is separate from the HGRD Administration Office. While they have distinctly separate organizational structures and functions, the HGRD and HOA cooperate for the benefit of our community in a number of ways.
